2. Service description
LocalAIStick provides a portable user interface for locally running AI models as well as functions for processing text, images and documents. The scope of functions, speed and quality of results depend, among other things, on the hardware, model and settings.
A specific availability, response quality or suitability of the AI output for a specific purpose is not guaranteed unless an expressly agreed quality or mandatory legal regulation conflicts with this.
3. Right of use
Users receive a non-exclusive, non-exclusive right to use LocalAIStick to the extent intended. Rights to included third-party components and AI models are also based on the licenses specified in each case.
4. Permitted Use
LocalAIStick may not be used for illegal purposes or to violate the rights of third parties. Users are responsible for their input, added files, generated content and their further use.
5. AI-generated content
AI output may be incomplete, outdated, factually incorrect or inappropriate. In particular, they do not constitute binding medical, legal, tax or financial advice. Important results must be checked by specialists or reliable sources.
6. Local data and backup
Chats, settings and other data are always stored on the data carrier used. Users are responsible for securing and protecting against loss, damage or unauthorized access. The data carrier must not be removed during ongoing writing or generation processes.
7. Third Party Components and Models
LocalAIStick contains software and models from independent third parties. The respective license conditions apply to these. The mention of a project or provider does not imply a partnership or business connection.
8. Updates and Changes
The application may be changed or updated as part of further development. A claim to certain future functions or permanent provision of individual models only exists if this has been expressly agreed or is required by law.
9. Liability
The provider is liable without limitation in the event of intent and gross negligence, in the event of injury to life, body or health, in accordance with the Product Liability Act and in cases of an express guarantee.
In the event of a slightly negligent violation of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damage. Furthermore, liability for minor negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
10. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law only applies to the extent that the protection of mandatory provisions of the country of habitual residence is not withdrawn.
